The bar itself is snug and busy, but the draw is the garden climbing the slope behind it, strung with fairy lights and lit in colour at night, with heaters and fire pits so it can be used in any weather.

The kitchen does Belgian comfort food: pots of moules frites, bubbling cheese fondue, and poutine piled with gravy. Monday is Moules Monday and Tuesday is Fondue Tuesday, and on Sundays there is a fondue roast. The beer list runs long on Belgian bottles and draughts, with house cocktails alongside. Fire pits can be booked for groups of up to twelve, with s'mores to add, and there are spaces for parties of two to sixty, from a sheltered cabin to the whole garden. It is open from noon until midnight every day.
