Inverenzie was an old farmhouse, home to many families over the years, and it was completely renovated in 2016. The owners kept the inside as pure and simple as they could, so the view down the Gairn valley comes first. It's still warm and welcoming, with a fire in the sitting room and a round table in the kitchen. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and one has a bath under a window onto the hills.

No 5 Steading is a stone cottage in Glen Dye's old Victorian steadings, with four bedrooms for seven people, a wood-burning stove under a wall of framed prints and a long dining table for everyone. There's a Swedish wood-fired hot tub on its own deck, and across the yard is The Smiddy, a timber games room with its own stove. Book it together with No 4 next door and fourteen of you can stay side by side. Dogs are welcome.
