A rare underwater camera, deployed in 1970 by Professor Roy Mackal to capture images of the Loch Ness Monster, has been restored after spending 56 years on the loch bed.
Originally one of six cameras designed to trigger when a bait line was disturbed, it survived underwater while most were lost during a gale.
Experts from The Repair Shop returned it to full working condition. The camera will now be displayed at the Loch Ness Centre, highlighting pioneering scientific efforts and decades of monster research.
