Redhill Retreat

Three micro cabins for two and a woodland sauna, built by hand on the south shore of Loch Rannoch. Adults only.

Welcome

A self-built retreat of three wood cabins in old woodland above Loch Rannoch, beside Schiehallion, made by Sheryl and Lynsey.

Sheryl and Lynsey built Redhill Retreat themselves: three bespoke wood cabins set in old woodland on the south shore of Loch Rannoch, with Schiehallion rising behind. Each sleeps two adults, and each is its own world. Loch sits on a knoll above a pond with its whole front in glass, Kin hides in the blaeberry among the spruce, and Rannoch stands by a mossy dyke in the pinewood, a steel moon gate set into the stones. Between them are the things the two of them wanted for themselves: a woodland sauna Sheryl always dreamed of, with a cold-therapy shower outside, and two fire pits where Lynsey liked to sit for hours under the open sky. Goats, sheep and ducks share the grounds, and there is feed for them. The retreat is for adults only, dogs are welcome, and when nobody is arriving the day you leave, the owners let you lie in for up to two more hours.

Experience the sauna Sheryl always dreamed of, or the firepits that Lynsey loved sitting around watching the unspoilt skies for hours.
