Hill of Maryfield Walk
Casting a long shadow over the River Dee, the Hill of Maryfield is a surprisingly gentle walk.
It takes around three hours in all, through the forests and valleys of the Banchory countryside. Most come for the view over the River Dee, a salmon river. The grassy clearing at the summit looks out over rolling countryside and streams, a fine reward for a walk that is never too hard.
