Welcome

If you like your cookies big, gooey and piled high with toppings, Cookie Cult on St Swithin Street is the place to go.

Amanda started baking after she was made redundant from the oil and gas industry in 2020, sold hundreds of cookies at a time at local markets from a little bakery in her parents' garage, and opened this pale blue shop in the west end in 2023. Everything is baked fresh every day, from loaded cookies that come stuffed, drizzled and sprinkled to mini cookies by the box, and there's coffee to go with them. For a birthday, order a cookie cake ahead in eight or twelve inches, with vegan ones too, pick the flavour, icing and toppings, and collect it from the shop. If you can't get there, cookie boxes go out by post across the UK every other Wednesday. The shop opens Wednesday to Sunday, there's free parking on the street, and the bakery handles nuts, dairy, gluten and soy.
