Cafe Thyme Arran

This is situated at the Old Byre Showroom and Visitor Centre at Machrie. So if you fancy shopping for that special Arran knitwear, taking in a great view and having a bite to eat then look no further. Hamza is the chef and his wife runs the shop so it is a real family affair. The food served uses good Scottish produce but you’ll notice an intriguing Turkish twist to the menu. You can also enjoy a glass of wine while you admire the view as its licensed. From the window you can see the Druid standing stone, fields, sea and over to the Mull of Kintyre.
