Birnam Arts & Beatrix Potter Perthshire Experience

Visit website
Welcome

If you grew up on Beatrix Potter's stories, there's something special about visiting the place where she spent her childhood summers.

Birnam Arts is the Victorian institute in the village across the river from Dunkeld, and it's owned by the community. The Beatrix Potter exhibition and garden tell the story of her summers here. The shop sells her books and characters. A two-hundred-seat hall puts on folk, theatre, film and comedy, and the gallery has a new show every few weeks. The café is where Birnam meets for coffee and a scone. The gallery and café open daily from nine and the exhibition from half ten, and the station is next door.
