in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.
It’s 21:02 over Loch Lomond.
Loch Lomond
Soup in Luss, squirrels at Lochgoilhead.
Most of the cafés here are small places close to the water or the walking routes. On Loch Katrine you can have breakfast by the steamship's berth, then walk or cycle the lochside road to a family café at Stronachlachar at the far end. At Lochgoilhead, red squirrels come to the feeders outside a café in a boat shed. Luss has a coach house known for its soups, Balmaha makes its own ice cream, and Strathyre's café on the cycle route pours Italian coffee. Callander's coffee shop has a secret garden for fine days. Hours change out of season, so check ahead in winter.
