Argyll and Bute

The whisky coast.

Argyll and Bute has whisky on almost every shore. On Islay, distilleries line the shores, making the peated malts the island is famous for, and across the Sound, Jura makes its own whisky and rum. Campbeltown has three working distilleries from its great days, and Oban and Tobermory have old distilleries by their harbours. Take the ferry, and choose a driver.
