Argyll and Bute
Off the boat in Oban.
Argyll is the place for seafood. On Oban's pier, a green shack set up by a fisherman in 1990 serves prawns, scallops and oysters, and there are fish restaurants on George Street and the Railway Pier. On Loch Fyne, the famous oyster bar sits at the head of the loch, and an inn at Otter Ferry has its own shoreline. In Tobermory, a restaurant on the pier has its own boat. Eat it by the water.
