Welcome

The Foghouse is a whisky, wine and coffee bar on Inverurie's Market Place, made by the team behind the Inverurie Whisky Shop next door, and it is built for a slower kind of drinking.

The room is calm and carefully put together, a place for conversation rather than noise.

There are over 400 whiskies available by the dram, so it is possible to taste across the whole of Scotland, and further, one glass at a time, with staff who know the bottles and like talking about them. There is good wine for anyone who would rather, and good coffee in the day.

Two dedicated tasting rooms can be booked for groups who want to go deeper, and the shop next door sells most of what is poured, so a favourite found at the bar can go home in the bag. It is a good place to start or end a day in the Garioch, where Glen Garioch distillery is a few miles up the road at Oldmeldrum.
