Welcome

The Bar at Talisker Distillery is the whisky bar in the distillery's Brand Home at Carbost, on the shore of Loch Harport on Skye.

You do not need to be on a tour to come in for a dram, as space allows.

The menu is built around Talisker, with tasting flights of three drams, the chance to make up a flight of your own, and a short list of cocktails that includes an alcohol-free one. There are staff picks from other distilleries too, and the team are on hand with recommendations. Talisker is the oldest working distillery on Skye, founded in 1830 by the MacAskill brothers. The bar opens at 11am on the distillery's opening days, and The Three Chimneys serves lunch on the waterfront in front of the distillery if you would like to eat first.
