Linn Falls

Visit website
Welcome

Every village should have a waterfall at the end of a short woodland walk, and Aberlour has one.

Linn Falls is where the Burn of Aberlour drops over two ledges into a dark pool, about twenty minutes on foot from the centre. The path runs up the burn from the Fleming Hall, through the trees and past the old distillery. The falls are loud after rain, and in summer people swim in the rocky pool below. The path is gentle enough for children, but the rocks are slippery near the edge, so keep hold of little ones. It's free, and Aberlour's butteries and the Walkers shortbread shop are waiting in the village on the way back.
