The herbal freshness of bog myrtle mixed with fresh mint is a distinctly Scottish fragrance – as is Highland Gorse, Machair Flowers and Heather and Wild Berries. The Isle of Skye Candle Co’s Scottish collection of natural soya wax candles is inspired by the local flora. Founded by James Robertson in 2006 after returning to his family croft, it’s now a mini empire, with a sprawling flagship store on the edge of Portree and shops in Broadford, Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews.
