Fintry Inn
The village pub on Main Street in Fintry, with a bar, a restaurant and a beer garden, pub classics, and a music session on Sunday afternoons.
The Fintry Inn is the village pub in Fintry, an inn on Main Street with a bar, a restaurant and a beer garden, in the Campsie Fells north of Glasgow.
Inside it's warm and full of character, with dark beams, painted bar stools and a shelf of whisky glowing behind the bar. The menu sticks to hearty pub classics, from steak pie and beer-battered haddock to a Skinners of Kippen beef burger, with soup and a full Scottish breakfast at lunchtime and sharing platters in the evening. On Sunday afternoons there's a music session from two till five, and anyone is welcome to bring a guitar, accordion or fiddle and join in, while the last Friday of the month is quiz night. Dogs and children are welcome, there are two self-catering flats upstairs, and it's open from Tuesday to Sunday, so book ahead for a table at the weekend.

Book a table through its own site, especially at the weekend.
