Ettrick Bay Café
A beach café at the back of Ettrick Bay on Bute's west coast, for home baking, breakfast and lunch looking out to Arran.
Ettrick Bay is a mile of golden sand on the west coast of Bute, and its beach café sits right at the back of it, looking out over the water to the hills of Arran.
For years it was known as the Ettrick Bay Tearoom, and it's still the place to warm up after a walk along the shore.
Inside there are comfy booths and a counter full of home baking, from cakes to brownies and doughnuts, and the kitchen does breakfasts, rolls and lunches, with specials on the board. Dogs are welcome, and there are tables outside for a sunny day. It's open every day from 11am to 4pm, and from 10am to 5pm on Saturdays, with free parking beside the café. Rothesay is about ten minutes away by car, so it's an easy one to pair with a morning in town.

Open every day, 11am to 4pm, and 10am to 5pm on Saturdays (Google).
Dogs are welcome, and there is free parking beside the café.
