Introduction
Designated a Local Nature Reserve in 1992, this beach site is in the historic Old Aberdeen of the city. It is where the River Don, a river that starts is journey in the Grampians, meets the sea. And it is this mighty river that has, over time, altered how the beach looks. As well as admiring the beauty of the area, keep an eye out for seals and a range of seabirds. With excellent pathways, it is perfect for buggies and wheelchairs.
