Coldingham Beach Café

A small white café on the sand at Coldingham Bay near St Abbs, for coffee, milkshakes and cake beside the beach huts.

Welcome

Coldingham Bay is a sheltered sweep of sand on the Berwickshire coast, and its little white beach café sits right on it, a few steps from the water.

It's a lovely spot for a coffee and a cake, with the beach huts on the slope above and the surfers out in the bay.

The chalkboard runs to milkshakes, iced lattes, sparkling iced teas and hot chocolate as well as the coffee, with cakes and snacks in the fridge. Dogs are welcome, and there are tables outside to sit and watch the sea. The café is open every day from 10am to 4pm. There's no parking at the beach itself, apart from two spaces for disabled drivers, so leave the car in the free car park at the top and walk down the short, steep road. There are toilets beside the beach, and St Abbs is just round the headland.
