Right beside the harbour in Eyemouth, Giacopazzi's is a long-established, family-run business with two sides to it: an Italian gelato parlour and cafe, and a classic fish and chip shop and restaurant, in separate buildings under the same name.

The gelato and sorbets have won a string of awards, with a counter full of colourful flavours to choose from. Next door, the fish comes in crisp batter with chips, to eat in or take away, and on fine days there are tables outside across the road by the water.

Giacopazzi's opens every day from nine in the morning until the evening, a little later at weekends. It is an easy stop after a walk round the harbour, where the fishing boats come and go.
