Moray's independent shops are well worth a browse. In Dufftown, a coffee shop has a bookshop behind it, and in Elgin, an independent bookseller has a bright shop of stationery. Find design-led homeware in Forres, gifts in a curved sandstone building in Cullen, and a candle maker's studio shop at Logie Steading. Most are on the high streets of the old market towns, so they're easy to find. Leave room in the car.
