The Golden Lion Hotel
Stirling's old coaching inn on King Street, open since 1786, where Robert Burns scratched verses on a window.

Contemporary artist and writer Charlotte Strawbridge presented her debut solo exhibition, When Beasts Spoke, at Made in Stirling from 28 March to 10 May 2026.
Rooted in the Scottish landscape, Strawbridge’s alla prima (wet-on-wet) oil paintings capture fleeting encounters with wild animals, inviting viewers to reflect on the natural world from a non-human perspective.
The exhibition was accompanied by palette-knife painting workshops, a children’s writing competition and the launch of an illustrated companion book.
