Windhouse

The most haunted house in Shetland

Welcome

It stands roofless above the road on Yell, and Laurie Goodlad calls it the most haunted house in Shetland: a lady in silk, a black dog, a man without a head, depending on who is telling it.

A skeleton was found under the floor during work on the house, which has not helped the stories settle.
