Shetland Islands
Glansin Glass
Welcome
Glansin Glass works out of a studio at Uyeasound on Unst, making fused and blown pieces whose colours come off the island: the greens of serpentine, the greys of a haar, the blue of a good day.
You can look into the workshop and see the pieces being made. It is a long way north, on Britain’s most northerly island.
