Wick Heritage Centre

Welcome

The Wick Heritage Centre looks small from the street, but its displays run on from one building into the next.

They go back to the days when Wick was at the centre of the herring trade, when 1,100 boats crowded into the harbour, hundreds of coopers made barrels for the fish, and over 800 gallons of whisky were sold every week.
