Mull has two golf courses, one on the clifftop above Tobermory and the other on the shore of Scallastle Bay. Tobermory Golf club is 9 holes creatively set out to challenge even the best golfer. The views from the course are outstanding. It was voted the ‘Best 9 hole golf course in Scotland’ in 2008. This is a hilly course as opposed to the flat course of Craignure Golf course. Although quite different from Tobermory, Craignure is also an extremely scenic course. Both courses operate an ‘Honesty box’ system to take payments and there is no bookings.
