Goat Fell

Add to List

Introduction

Marking the highest peak on the island, Goat Fell is owned by the National Trust for Scotland and overlooks the dramatic Brodick Castle. Named, supposedly, for the Norse ‘geita’, meaning goat, hiking up to the peak is a popular activity for less experienced climbers. Those who make it to the top on a clear day will be able to see the Northern Ireland coastline.
