Corrie Fee

Visit website
Welcome

Few walks have a reveal like Corrie Fee, where you step out of the forest and a great glacial bowl opens up in front of you.

It is a nature reserve in the Cairngorms National Park, about 25 kilometres north of Kirriemuir. It's one of the most important places in Britain for arctic-alpine plants, and golden eagles hunt here. The walk in is gentle, on a waymarked forest trail of about 3.5 kilometres that takes 45 minutes. From the edge of the wood, good paths take you to the lip of the corrie without any scrambling. Park at the Forestry and Land Scotland car park on the B955.
