Cabarfeidh Hotel
A family-run four-star hotel on the edge of Stornoway, opened in the early 1970s, with a seafood and grill restaurant and a bar.
The Cabarfeidh is a four-star hotel on the north edge of Stornoway, built in 1970 and 1971 on the old Manor Farm by the local businessman Norman Mackenzie, and still owned and run by his family today.
It's a comfortable, easy base for exploring Lewis, with free parking at the door, a lift to every floor and rooms for every kind of party, from singles and twins to family rooms and an accessible twin with a wet room. Dogs are welcome too, one to a room. The hotel's restaurant, Cleaver Seafood & Grill, serves lunch and dinner every day and is open to everyone, not only those staying, so book a table if you're coming for the evening. There's the Juniper Bar for a dram, and on Fridays and Saturdays afternoon tea in the conservatory, if you give a day's notice. The hotel is one of three in Stornoway in the Cala Hotels group, alongside the Royal and the Caladh Inn.
