Places to Stay in Fife for Two

Sometimes all you want is somewhere for just the two of you. These are our favourite places to stay in Fife for a couple, from a treehouse in a quiet wood to snug studios and cottages in a seaside village.

A few days away together in Fife can be as lively or as lazy as you like. Wander the harbour in a fishing village, walk a stretch of the coastal path, then settle in for a quiet evening with nobody else about.

We've picked out places to stay made for two. There's a treehouse in a quiet wood, well away from everyone, with a skylight over the bed and an outside bath among the branches. On a farm near Newburgh, an old cart shed has become a retreat for couples, with a sauna inside and a private hot tub in its own courtyard. In the fishing village of Pittenweem there are snug studios and a romantic cottage built in 1590. Book a table somewhere nice for dinner, or just stay in.
