Places to Stay in Aberdeenshire with a Hot Tub

There's nothing like sinking into hot water at the end of a day outdoors, and in Aberdeenshire you can do it beside a river with the stars coming out over the trees. These are the places to stay where a hot tub is waiting when you get back.

Updated 23 September 2026. Across Aberdeenshire.

Whether you've spent the day walking the forest tracks of Royal Deeside or simply pottering round Ballater and Banchory, there's no better way to end it than a long soak outside. Climb in as the light fades, watch the trees turn dark, and settle back under a big Aberdeenshire sky. On a clear night you'll have the stars to yourself.

We've picked out our favourite places to stay in Aberdeenshire with a hot tub. There's a Victorian lodge on the banks of the River Dye and a cottage looking over the same river, both with a sauna to book on the estate. On the edge of the forest, an ancient stone house that was an inn for centuries has a wood-fired sauna as well as a tub. For a big gathering, there's a hunting lodge from 1746 beside the River Gairn, with a sauna and an outdoor hot tub. Several welcome dogs too.
