The winter version of the Northumberland day: Lindisfarne, Alnwick and Bamburgh Castle.

When the days are short, this is a good way to see something different from Edinburgh. It runs from October to March and visits three of the best places on the Northumberland coast. There's Holy Island, where the tide decides when you can cross, the town of Alnwick with its castle and garden, and Bamburgh Castle, high on its rock above a huge sandy beach. It's a small group of up to 16 and back by 6pm. Entry to the castles and the priory is extra, so add the ones you'd like when you book.
