Popular Edinburgh bakery Twelve Triangles has opened a second Melrose location, expanding from its original High Street site to a larger café on Market Square.

The new space includes seating for dining in, a dedicated family room with toys, and an extended retail range featuring pastries, granola, jams, and kitchenware.

The café is furnished with antiques and has a relaxed feel. Founders Emily Cuddeford and Rachel Morgan say the expansion responds to demand for more space. Their original shop, now nicknamed “Little Melrose”, remains open for takeaway.
