Introduction

A trip to Orkney would not be complete without a view of the Old Man of Hoy. This is a 137m high sea stack on the west coast. Follow the Hoy coastal track from Rackwick Bay and you will come to a viewing area with the most amazing view of the stack and beyond. It has been climbed by very experienced climbers but certainly not one for beginners.
