Established in 1979 in Stromness, Orkney, the Pier Arts Centre is a gallery and museum housing the former art collection of Margaret Gardiner, a philanthropist. Hosting revolving exhibitions and events alongside its permanent collection, the museum is host to around 180 modern works of art.
