Simply Scottish
A coffee house and restaurant on the High Street in Jedburgh, open every day, with Scottish breakfasts, haggis dishes and big slices of cake.
On the High Street in Jedburgh, a short walk from the abbey, Simply Scottish is a coffee house and restaurant with a dark grey front and tables out on the pavement on fine days.
Breakfast brings a full Scottish plate with black pudding and tattie scone, and at lunchtime there are burgers topped with haggis and haggis nachos, followed by big slices of homemade sponge cake. Reviewers praise the kind staff and fair prices, and locals use it as much as travellers do.
Simply Scottish opens every day of the week, from ten until four. It is an easy stop before or after a look round Jedburgh Abbey and the town's museums.
