Welcome

The Old Post Office at Lochbuie is a small family-run farm and coffee shop on the south coast of Mull, at the head of Loch Buie.

It first opened in 2012 in the village's old post office, to give people living in and visiting Lochbuie a good cup of tea and something freshly baked, and in 2020 it moved into a new timber building with a bright red roof and big windows onto wide views.

You can sit in for freshly made snacks, lunches and teas, with plenty of seating outside for sunny days. The family use their own beef, venison, pork and lamb, and island-grown fruit and vegetables where they can; their own Lochbuie meat is on sale too, with local crafts, and homemade ready meals from the Lochbuie Larder. Moy Castle, the stone circle and the shore are all close by.
