Introduction
Though only the ruins now remain of this 15th-century castle, Old Castle Lachlan on the Cowal Peninsula is a popular spot for coastal walkers. Overlooking Loch Fyne, a visit to the bay will allow you to see the ruins of the castle up close, which have been carefully preserved and looked after for centuries.
