If you’re taking on the Grey Mare’s Tail walk, you’ll want to stop by the beautiful Loch Skeen. Just ten miles northeast of Moffat, the Loch feeds directly into the 600ft high Grey Mare’s Tail waterfall. The highest loch in the Southern Upland area, the loch is particularly popular with hikers who can travel around it in a day and a half.
