Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.
Tornado is a rare thing: the first main-line steam locomotive built in Britain since the 1960s, and for three days in October she's at the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway. Steam, Steel, Road and Rail is a weekend of heritage trains, steam and diesel, with classic road vehicles alongside and the chance to see Tornado up close at Bo'ness. On Friday evening there's a fish and chip train, with supper eaten on board as you ride, and on Saturday evening a whisky train. There's a £5 platform fee at Bo'ness station, and the evening trains are booked in advance.
