Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.

The Citizens Theatre has stood in the Gorbals since 1878, and after a long rebuild you can now go behind the scenes on one of its heritage tours. On the 90-minute tour, a guide takes you through the front of house and its restored features, and through the new spaces added in the rebuild, with stories of the productions and people that made the Citz famous along the way. Tours run on 9 and 29 October and 12 and 18 November, cost £8 and are best for ages 12 and up. Book on the theatre's website, and stay for a show if you can.

Mull and Cornwall have more in common than you might think, and An Fenten sets out to show it.

Every October the pines of Faskally Wood, a mile or so out of Pitlochry, are lit and scored for a month, and people walk through them after dark.
