From Sea and Stone

4 November to 20 December · Argyll and Bute

4–20November to December

Kilmartin Museum sits in a glen full of cairns and standing stones, and this winter it hands its gallery to young artists from across Argyll. From Sea and Stone shows work by children and young people aged 10 to 25 from Youth Arts Argyll, in painting, photography, video, printmaking, sculpture and textiles, all looking at the land and the sea around them. Some of it was made in school workshops, and some by former members who have gone on to art school. You can pick up a copy of their magazine, and some of the work is for sale too. It runs from 4 November to 20 December, and the museum is open Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm, through the winter.
