David Bowie: On Tour
The V&A holds Bowie's own archive – eighty thousand items of costume, lyric sheets, instruments, photographs and notes – and this is the first big showing of it in Scotland.
Art and exhibitions
Some of the UK's most celebrated chefs are heading north this November, and you don't need a trip to London to taste their cooking. The Signature Food Festival takes over the kitchen at the Chester Hotel on Queen's Road in Aberdeen for a series of lunches and dinners. Clare Smyth of Core cooks on 3 and 4 November, Kirk Haworth of Plates on 6 November and Angelo Sato of Humble Chicken on 7 November. Tom Brown follows on 13 and 14 November, with Marcus Wareing on 18 and 19 November. Every event raises money for local children's charities, and tickets are sold on the festival's website.
