Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival
Edinburgh's autumn gets a taste of Spain and Latin America as the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival returns for its 13th year.
Gluggle jugs have been pouring in British kitchens since 1870, and they get their name from the happy gluggle they make as the water comes out. This October you can make your own in Ullapool. An Talla Solais, the town's arts centre, has the ceramicist Kevin Andrew Morris in for a day's workshop, and you choose whether to hand-build your jug or press-mould it. The workshop runs from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 24 October at An Talla Solais on Market Street, with a second day on Sunday 25 October if bookings allow. Places are booked through An Talla Solais.
