Links You Can Reach by Train

There's something special about arriving for a round by train, with your clubs on the rack and the sea coming into view. Whether it's a short hop out of the city or a run up the coast, these are the links you can reach without a car.

Leaving the car at home is one of the easiest ways to enjoy a golf trip in Scotland. These links are all a short walk or a quick taxi ride from a railway station, and at one of them the first tee is right beside the platform. Trains from the nearest city get you there in under an hour.

It's a relaxed way to travel, with no parking to find and no need to worry about a drink in the clubhouse afterwards, and the towns around the courses have plenty of places to eat and stay. Check the timetable before you book your tee time.
