Waterfalls
in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.

It’s 21:44 over Loch Lomond.
Loch Lomond

Rob Roy's Bathtub and the Dochart rapids.

The rivers here come quickly off the hills, and several of their falls are only a short walk from the road. Above Callander, cascades run through a wooded gorge at Bracklinn and white water fills the Pass of Leny. At Killin, rapids pour under the old bridge beside the MacNab chiefs' burial island. In Glen Falloch you can step out on a steel platform over the pool called Rob Roy's Bathtub, and at Inversnaid a burn tumbles straight into Loch Lomond, as it did for Wordsworth and Hopkins. Go a day or two after rain, and wear boots with a good grip.

You are up to date.

That is everything for today. Tomorrow's first posts go up in the morning. Or have the best of it in your inbox each morning in the Daily.
