From the A9 to Church Street.

Whisky here comes from every direction out of Inverness. Drive south on the A9 and Tomatin has been distilling since 1897, with tours through the season. West of the city, the Singleton's home at Muir of Ord is open all year, with tastings, a bar and a deli. North by the Dornoch Firth, Glenmorangie stands just outside Tain, known for its tall stills. Back in the city, a small, cosy whisky bar on Church Street pours malts from every region of Scotland, with friendly staff to guide you. Leave the car at your hotel for that last one.
