Fife

Sands, coves and rock pools.

Fife has a beach for every kind of day. There are long, wide sands where you can walk for miles with the wind in your face, including the beach from the opening of a famous film. There are little coves too, backed by dunes, where you might have the place to yourself. Some come with rock pools, a promenade and an ice cream on the way home, while others are best reached on foot along the coastal path. Bring a flask and a jumper, even in summer, check the tide if you're heading round the rocks, and finish with fish and chips in the nearest village.

You are up to date.

That is everything for today. Tomorrow's first posts go up in the morning. Or have the best of it in your inbox each morning in the Daily.
