Walks and nature
in Fife.
It’s 20:05 in Fife.
Fife
Glens, woods and wild places.
Away from the coast, Fife has some lovely wild corners where you can walk for an hour and see hardly anyone. There are wooded glens with waterfalls, a mysterious den in the woods with steps cut into the rock, and a strange mushroom-shaped stone on the slopes of the Lomond Hills. There's a country park with a lake and gardens too, perfect for a family day. Most need nothing more than good shoes and an hour or two, and they're at their best after rain or when the autumn colour is in the trees. Pack a flask and make an afternoon of it.
You are up to date.
That is everything for today. Tomorrow's first posts go up in the morning. Or have the best of it in your inbox each morning in the Daily.
