In north Glasgow, locals are rallying to save the long-closed Possil Railway Station. The red-brick, C-listed building has stood empty since the 1990s, its boarded windows a reminder of a busier era. Now more than 300 residents have signed a petition calling for its revival, with ideas ranging from a museum to a creative hub. Campaigners see it not only as a piece of transport history but as a chance to give the area a new meeting place.
